Kjirstin Breure
Kjirstin Breure is President, CEO, and Board Chair of HydroGraph Clean Power Inc., a graphene manufacturer based in Austin, Texas, and publicly listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE: HG) and the OTCQB (HGRAF).
She holds an MSc in Materials Science and Engineering and a BSc in Political Science, both from Arizona State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Before joining HydroGraph, she held director and executive-level roles at several Canadian technology startups — including Theorem Synthetic Intelligence, Omada Technologies, and Macht10 — where she gained experience in emerging technologies including machine learning, data analytics, and blockchain.
Kjirstin joined HydroGraph in 2020 as its first employee, initially serving as Chief Operating Officer. In that role, she developed the company’s strategic direction, built out its brand, and helped advance its graphene production from lab scale toward commercial manufacturing. She became a member of the board in 2021, was appointed President in January 2022, and formally confirmed as CEO in late 2024.

Her work at HydroGraph has focused on connecting scientific research to real-world industrial use — generating application development data across concrete, carbon fiber, coatings, and composites, and building commercial partnerships across North America, the UK, and beyond. Under her leadership, HydroGraph received US EPA, UK REACH, and EU REACH regulatory clearances for commercial-scale graphene sales.
HydroGraph is currently preparing for a Nasdaq listing as part of its expansion into the US market, with headquarters now based in Austin, Texas.
